Every year, the Huntington Library hosts a Civil War reenactment event. Participants wear historical uniforms and recreate scenes from the American Civil War to help visitors understand what life was like during that time. The event includes battle demonstrations, military camps, historical displays, and educational activities. Visitors can talk with reenactors, learn about Civil War history, and see how soldiers and civilians lived in the 1860s. It is a fun and educational experience for people of all ages.
